Le <strong>diab\u00e8te de type 2<\/strong> repr\u00e9sente <strong>95% des cas<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/news-room\/fact-sheets\/detail\/diabetes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span class='tooltipsall tooltip_post_id_79593 classtoolTips79593'>OMS<\/span>, 2023<\/a>) et expose les patients \u00e0 de <strong>graves complications<\/strong> comme le risque d&rsquo;infarctus du myocarde ou d&rsquo;accident vasculaire c\u00e9r\u00e9bral, d&rsquo;amputation ou de dialyse en cas d\u2019insuffisance r\u00e9nale. Le <strong>diab\u00e8te <\/strong>est \u00e9galement la <strong>principale cause<\/strong> de <strong>c\u00e9cit\u00e9 <\/strong>chez les adultes et peut <strong>consid\u00e9rablement impacter <\/strong>la <strong>qualit\u00e9 de vie<\/strong> en cas de neuropathie s\u00e9v\u00e8re (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/news-room\/fact-sheets\/detail\/diabetes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span class='tooltipsall tooltip_post_id_79593 classtoolTips79593'>OMS<\/span>, 2023<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De <strong>nombreux facteurs<\/strong> influencent l\u2019apparition et le d\u00e9veloppement du diab\u00e8te de type 2, les <strong>plus importants<\/strong> \u00e9tant li\u00e9s au <strong>mode de vie<\/strong> : alimentation de mauvaise qualit\u00e9, faible niveau d&rsquo;activit\u00e9 physique, surpoids\/ob\u00e9sit\u00e9 et tabagisme (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.niddk.nih.gov\/health-information\/diabetes\/overview\/risk-factors-type-2-diabetes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NIDDK, 2016<\/a>). Si les <strong>habitudes de vie i<\/strong>nfluencent le <strong>risque de diab\u00e8te de type 2<\/strong>, elles peuvent \u00e9galement contribuer \u00e0 la <strong>pr\u00e9vention de la maladie. Ce mois-ci, l\u2019\u00e9dition d\u2019\u00c9quation<\/strong> Nutrition propose d\u2019approfondir ce sujet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le premier article, analyse l\u2019\u00e9dition 2019 du <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?sa=t&amp;source=web&amp;rct=j&amp;opi=89978449&amp;url=https:\/\/www.healthdata.org\/research-analysis\/gbd&amp;ved=2ahUKEwiQ47H87IqGAxUUUaQEHRJ0BjMQFnoECBwQAQ&amp;usg=AOvVaw0He0sCtd3rkOa5fVme9KL-\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Global Burden of Disease<\/a> afin de d\u00e9terminer la <strong>contribution <\/strong>des <strong>facteurs alimentaires <\/strong>au <strong>fardeau <\/strong>du <strong>diab\u00e8te <\/strong>de 1990 \u00e0 2019. En ciblant<strong> 21 zones g\u00e9ographiques <\/strong>du monde, ce travail montre que la <strong>mortalit\u00e9 <\/strong>li\u00e9e au diab\u00e8te <strong>diminue<\/strong>, notamment gr\u00e2ce aux progr\u00e8s en sant\u00e9 publique (traitements, d\u00e9pistage). A l\u2019inverse, le <strong>nombre d\u2019ann\u00e9es de vie ajust\u00e9es sur l&rsquo;incapacit\u00e9 augmente<\/strong>, avec des diff\u00e9rences en fonction de l&rsquo;\u00e2ge et du sexe. La <strong>faible consommation de fruits<\/strong> figure parmi les <strong>trois principaux facteurs <strong>alimentaires <\/strong>de risque <\/strong>contribuant au fardeau du diab\u00e8te.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le deuxi\u00e8me article est une revue syst\u00e9matique r\u00e9sumant les donn\u00e9es disponibles concernant les <strong>diff\u00e9rentes composantes du mode de vie <\/strong>intervenant <strong>avant la grossesse<\/strong> pour <strong>r\u00e9duire le risque de diab\u00e8te gestationnel<\/strong>. Cette \u00e9tude d\u00e9montre qu\u2019une <strong>alimentation saine<\/strong> et la <strong>pratique d\u2019une activit\u00e9 physique avant la grossesse<\/strong> r\u00e9duisent le <strong>risque <\/strong>de diab\u00e8te gestationnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le troisi\u00e8me article pr\u00e9sente les <strong>nouvelles recommandations nutritionnelles <\/strong>dans le cadre du <strong>traitement du diab\u00e8te de type 2<\/strong>. Nouveaut\u00e9\u202f: les <strong>recommandations cl\u00e9s<\/strong> pour les personnes atteintes de diab\u00e8te sont <strong>largement similaires<\/strong> \u00e0 celles de la <strong>population g\u00e9n\u00e9rale<\/strong>.
