Trois ont une incidence b\u00e9n\u00e9fique: le mod\u00e8le m\u00e9diterran\u00e9en, l\u2019approche DASH (Approche Di\u00e9t\u00e9tique pour pr\u00e9venir l\u2019hypertension art\u00e9rielle) et le r\u00e9gime AHEI (Alternative Healthy Eating Index, r\u00e9gime alimentaire alternatif sain). Tous trois sont associ\u00e9s \u00e0 une diminution de 13 \u00e0 20 % du risque de diab\u00e8te. \u00c9trangement, des r\u00e9gimes \u00e0 la fois pauvres et riches en mati\u00e8re grasse (type r\u00e9gime m\u00e9diterran\u00e9en), r\u00e9duisent le risque de DT2. Ces observations confirment les r\u00e9sultats \u00e0 long terme des essais de pr\u00e9vention du DT2 avec un r\u00e9gime mod\u00e9r\u00e9ment restreint en graisses mais privil\u00e9giant l\u2019augmentation de la consommation de fruits, de l\u00e9gumes et de c\u00e9r\u00e9ales compl\u00e8tes.<\/p>\n<p>Dans une vaste \u00e9tude chinoise publi\u00e9e par Huaidong Hu, la consommation de fruits frais est associ\u00e9e \u00e0 une r\u00e9duction du risque de DT2 de 12 % chez les sujets indemnes de DT2 au d\u00e9marrage de l\u2019\u00e9tude. En outre, un risque plus faible de mortalit\u00e9 totale, de maladies cardiovasculaires et de complications micro vasculaires a \u00e9t\u00e9 observ\u00e9 parmi les patients diab\u00e9tiques qui consommaient r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement des fruits frais au d\u00e9but du suivi. Cependant, les patients diab\u00e9tiques consommaient moins de fruits frais que les non diab\u00e9tiques.<\/p>\n<p>Richard Bryce rapporte les b\u00e9n\u00e9fices sur la sant\u00e9 d\u2019un programme prescrivant des F&amp;L sur ordonnance \u00e0 des patients atteints de DT2 mal contr\u00f4l\u00e9 (achats F&amp;L sur un march\u00e9 de producteurs). La diminution de l\u2019h\u00e9moglobine A1c est significative sur le plan clinique et comparable \u00e0 celle obtenue avec de nombreux m\u00e9dicaments antidiab\u00e9tiques. Malheureusement, parmi les personnes sollicit\u00e9es, peu ont manifest\u00e9 un int\u00e9r\u00eat pour participer ; ainsi, l\u2019\u00e9tude manquait de groupe t\u00e9moin. N\u00e9anmoins, ces r\u00e9sultats sugg\u00e8rent que des approches di\u00e9t\u00e9tiques peu on\u00e9reuses et novatrices sont indispensables pour am\u00e9liorer le contr\u00f4le de la glyc\u00e9mie chez les patients atteints de DT2.<\/p>\n<p>Riches en nutriments, vitamines et sels min\u00e9raux, les F&amp;L repr\u00e9sentent une source importante de fibres alimentaires et micronutriments qui peuvent jouer un r\u00f4le dans la pr\u00e9vention des maladies chroniques. Outre les F&amp;L, les c\u00e9r\u00e9ales compl\u00e8tes et les fruits rouges, abondamment consomm\u00e9s dans les pays nordiques ont \u00e9galement des effets b\u00e9n\u00e9fiques sur la sant\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Le remplacement d\u2019une alimentation riche en graisses satur\u00e9es et en produits transform\u00e9s par un r\u00e9gime privil\u00e9giant les fruits, l\u00e9gumes et c\u00e9r\u00e9ales compl\u00e8tes a, en soi, des effets b\u00e9n\u00e9fiques sur la sant\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Ainsi gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 leurs effets antioxydants et anti-inflammatoires, les F&amp;L peuvent avoir une incidence b\u00e9n\u00e9fique sur la sant\u00e9. De m\u00eame, la modification de la flore intestinale, largement \u00e9tudi\u00e9e aujourd\u2019hui, li\u00e9e \u00e0 la consommation r\u00e9guli\u00e8re de F&amp;L peut jouer un r\u00f4le.
