This paper discusses progress since then. There has been a seemingly relentless documentation of adverse health consequences of the obesity epidemic in the intervening years, increasing evidence that marketing of unhealthy food contributes to the epidemic, growing knowledge about New Zealand children&#039;s exposure to marketing of unhealthy food, and evidence of public support to decrease children&#039;s exposure to marketing of unhealthy food.
