{"id":25757,"date":"2015-07-01T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2018-12-03T21:27:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aprifel-pp.mentalworks.biz\/fr\/resume-scientifique\/healthy-living-practices-in-families-and-child-health-in-taiwan\/"},"modified":"2018-12-03T22:27:04","modified_gmt":"2018-12-03T21:27:04","slug":"healthy-living-practices-in-families-and-child-health-in-taiwan","status":"publish","type":"resume","link":"https:\/\/aprifel-pp.mentalworks.biz\/fr\/resume-scientifique\/healthy-living-practices-in-families-and-child-health-in-taiwan\/","title":{"rendered":"Healthy living practices in families and child health in Taiwan."},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><strong>OBJECTIVES<\/strong><br \/>\nThe aim of this study was to examine the hypothesis that inexpensive and feasible healthy living practices in families, particularly in disadvantaged families, can promote the health of children.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><strong>METHODS<\/strong><br \/>\nThe dataset was obtained from the Taiwan Birth Cohort Study and comprises a nationally representative sample of 19,712 3-year-old children in Taiwan. The Child Healthy Living Practices in Families (CHLPF) Index, which rates various items of personal hygiene, vegetable and fruit consumption, physical activity, time spent viewing television, and exposure to smoking, was created, and a logistic regression analysis was conducted to test the hypothesis.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><strong>RESULTS<\/strong><br \/>\nHigher CHLPF levels were significantly and consistently associated with better child health in families of all income levels.
