En effet, de nombreux travaux ont d\u00e9montr\u00e9 que les interventions nutritionnelles en milieu scolaire pr\u00e9sentaient un impact important sur le comportement alimentaire et les connaissances des enfants. R\u00e9cemment, une revue de la litt\u00e9rature a examin\u00e9 l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 de diff\u00e9rentes strat\u00e9gies sur l\u2019augmentation de la consommation de fruits et l\u00e9gumes. Ce travail sugg\u00e8re notamment que des interventions combin\u00e9es permettraient d\u2019obtenir de meilleurs r\u00e9sultats sur les comportements alimentaires des enfants que des approches isol\u00e9es.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019<strong>environnement scolaire<\/strong> joue un <strong>r\u00f4le pr\u00e9pond\u00e9rant <\/strong>dans le <strong>d\u00e9veloppement <\/strong>des <strong>enfants<\/strong>, et notamment dans la <strong>modulation <\/strong>des <strong>comportements alimentaires<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC10271472\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Grosso et al, 2013<\/a> ; <a href=\"https:\/\/link.springer.com\/article\/10.1186\/s12966-015-0182-8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dudiey et al, 2015<\/a>). La conception <strong>d\u2019interventions en milieu scolaires<\/strong> int\u00e9grant la <strong>distribution d\u2019aliments sains<\/strong> permettrait notamment de guider les <strong>choix alimentaires<\/strong> des <strong>enfants <\/strong>et de les \u00e9loigner des <strong>aliments \u00e0 forte densit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique <\/strong>favorisant la <strong>prise de poids<\/strong> et facteurs de risque <strong>d\u2019ob\u00e9sit\u00e9 <\/strong>(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/news-room\/fact-sheets\/detail\/obesity-and-overweight\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span class='tooltipsall tooltip_post_id_79593 classtoolTips79593'>OMS<\/span>, 2021<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De nombreux travaux ont, par ailleurs, montr\u00e9 que <strong>l\u2019ob\u00e9sit\u00e9 <\/strong>\u00e9tait <strong>significativement associ\u00e9e <\/strong>\u00e0 des <strong>r\u00e9sultats scolaires d\u00e9favorables<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/onlinelibrary.wiley.com\/doi\/pdf\/10.1038\/oby.2001.5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Falkner et al, 2001<\/a> ; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rand.org\/content\/dam\/rand\/pubs\/reprints\/2008\/RAND_RP1315.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Datar et al, 2004<\/a>). Afin de<strong> limiter son apparition chez l\u2019enfant<\/strong>, un <strong>nombre croissant d\u2019interventions nutritionnelles<\/strong> ont ainsi \u00e9t\u00e9 <strong>\u00e9labor\u00e9es <\/strong>et <strong>d\u00e9ploy\u00e9es <\/strong>au cours des derni\u00e8res d\u00e9cennies (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC10261447\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Methner et al, 2017<\/a> ; <a href=\"https:\/\/escholarship.org\/content\/qt3tj9m3bx\/qt3tj9m3bx.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Keihner et al, 2017<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>R\u00e9cemment, une revue de la litt\u00e9rature (<a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/35947869\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Verdonschot et al, 2023)<\/a> a identifi\u00e9 les <strong>strat\u00e9gies ayant eu le plus d\u2019impact <\/strong>sur la <strong>consommation de fruits et l\u00e9gumes chez les enfants,<\/strong> ainsi que sur leurs <strong>connaissances <\/strong>en mati\u00e8re de <strong>nutrition <\/strong>(voir m\u00e9thodologie).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fruits : augmenter la disponibilit\u00e9 permet d&rsquo;augmenter leur consommation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>De <strong>nombreuses interventions <\/strong>ont cherch\u00e9 \u00e0 <strong>augmenter la consommation<\/strong> de fruits et l\u00e9gumes chez les enfants via <strong>diff\u00e9rents leviers<\/strong>. Certaines consistent par exemple \u00e0 <strong>distribuer directement<\/strong> ces aliments \u00e0 l&rsquo;heure du d\u00e9jeuner ou dans des petits commerces \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 de l\u2019\u00e9cole, ou encore \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser cette distribution en <strong>classe <\/strong>(Evans et al., 2012). D&rsquo;autres interventions sont <strong>indirectes <\/strong>et visent \u00e0 <strong>accro\u00eetre la disponibilit\u00e9 des fruits et l\u00e9gumes<\/strong> au sein du <strong>restaurant scolaire<\/strong> ou dans les <strong>distributeurs automatiques <\/strong>(<a href=\"https:\/\/journals.plos.org\/plosone\/article?id=10.1371\/journal.pone.0194555\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Micha et al., 2018<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce type d\u2019intervention s\u2019est av\u00e9r\u00e9es <strong>particuli\u00e8rement efficaces<\/strong> pour <strong>augmenter la consommation de fruits.<\/strong> Ainsi, cinq \u00e9tudes, portant sur plus de <strong>10 166 participants au total,<\/strong> montrent une augmentation des consommations de fruits (<a href=\"https:\/\/jech.bmj.com\/content\/jech\/62\/10\/926.full.pdf?casa_token=deYkvIGhm2sAAAAA:LqVIxBatW3paOpfE-3Jqsl6dU5Ngwe9tNIPifGYRF7WVYjK-XAGZZPVjdZIDYx9phqWmIizz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Moore and Tapper, 2008;<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cambridge.org\/core\/services\/aop-cambridge-core\/content\/view\/E75176316E165D2859ECA499A69D006B\/S0007114510000814a.pdf\/div-class-title-effect-of-the-nationwide-free-school-fruit-scheme-in-norway-div.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bere et al., 2010<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.researchgate.net\/profile\/Robert-Pederson\/publication\/10905997_Effect_of_a_fruit_and_vegetable_subscription_in_Danish_schools\/links\/568b7de908ae1e63f1fcc4c4\/Effect-of-a-fruit-and-vegetable-subscription-in-Danish-schools.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">; Fogarty et al., 2007; Eriksen et al., 2003<\/a>; <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20170922184320id_\/https:\/www.cambridge.org\/core\/services\/aop-cambridge-core\/content\/view\/1AA472EF29A4F58B31556157A865652F\/S1368980008002954a.pdf\/div-class-title-a-pilot-study-of-the-effect-of-providing-daily-free-fruit-to-primary-school-children-in-auckland-new-zealand-div.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ashfield-Watt et al., 2009<\/a>). Concernant la <strong>consommation de l\u00e9gumes<\/strong>, les r\u00e9sultats sont plus <strong>mitig\u00e9s<\/strong>. Si certains travaux ont montr\u00e9 des<strong> effets positifs <\/strong>&#8211; l&rsquo;un d&rsquo;entre eux faisant \u00e9tat d&rsquo;une <strong>augmentation <\/strong>de <strong>20,7 g\/jour<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.researchgate.net\/profile\/Saskia-Te-Velde\/publication\/6226527_Ethnic_differences_in_1-year_follow-up_effect_of_the_Dutch_Schoolgruiten_Project_-_Promoting_fruit_and_vegetable_consumption_among_primary-school_children\/links\/0a85e52e636a302784000000\/Ethnic-differences-in-1-year-follow-up-effect-of-the-Dutch-Schoolgruiten-Project-Promoting-fruit-and-vegetable-consumption-among-primary-school-children.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tak et al, 2007<\/a>) &#8211; d&rsquo;autres \u00e9tudes rapportent des<strong> effets n\u00e9gatifs<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cambridge.org\/core\/services\/aop-cambridge-core\/content\/view\/E75176316E165D2859ECA499A69D006B\/S0007114510000814a.pdf\/div-class-title-effect-of-the-nationwide-free-school-fruit-scheme-in-norway-div.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bere et al., 2010<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.researchgate.net\/profile\/Robert-Pederson\/publication\/10905997_Effect_of_a_fruit_and_vegetable_subscription_in_Danish_schools\/links\/568b7de908ae1e63f1fcc4c4\/Effect-of-a-fruit-and-vegetable-subscription-in-Danish-schools.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Eriksen et al., 2003<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">L\u00e9gumes : une approche ludique via des jeux et activit\u00e9s en ligne permet d&rsquo;augmenter les consommations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Alors que les <strong>enfants <\/strong>passent de <strong>plus en plus de temps sur Internet,<\/strong> plusieurs \u00e9quipes de recherche ont <strong>exploit\u00e9 <\/strong>ce <strong>canal <\/strong>pour tenter <strong>d\u2019\u00e9duquer \u00e0 la nutrition<\/strong> et \u00e0 une <strong>alimentation saine<\/strong> via une <strong>approche ludique.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>D\u2019apr\u00e8s la revue r\u00e9alis\u00e9e, diff\u00e9rentes strat\u00e9gies<\/strong> ont \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9es : <strong>questionnaires<\/strong>, acc\u00e8s \u00e0 des<strong> documents en ligne \u00e0 la maison ou \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9cole,<\/strong> <strong>jeux p\u00e9dagogiques<\/strong>. Parmi ces derniers, le jeu \u201cSquire\u2019s Quest!\u201d comprend des <strong>d\u00e9fis <\/strong>visant \u00e0<strong> consommer davantage de fruits, de jus 100% fruits et de l\u00e9gumes,<\/strong> ainsi que des s\u00e9ances de <strong>cuisine virtuelle<\/strong> pour <strong>apprendre des recettes saines.<\/strong> Ce jeu a \u00e9t\u00e9 <strong>particuli\u00e8rement efficace <\/strong>et a notamment permis <strong>d\u2019augmenter d\u2019une portion la consommation de fruits et l\u00e9gumes chez les enfants ayant particip\u00e9 au programme<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/12554024\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">(Baranowski et al, 2003).<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>D\u2019autres \u00e9tudes rapportent une <strong>augmentation de la consommation de l\u00e9gumes <\/strong>chez les enfants apr\u00e8s <strong>l\u2019utilisation d\u2019activit\u00e9s en ligne<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.researchgate.net\/profile\/Hein-Raat\/publication\/6515552_School-based_Internet-tailored_fruit_and_vegetable_education_combined_with_brief_counselling_increases_children's_awareness_of_intake_levels\/links\/0fcfd510d622ca84f2000000\/School-based-Internet-tailored-fruit-and-vegetable-education-combined-with-brief-counselling-increases-childrens-awareness-of-intake-levels.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mangunkusumo et al., 2007<\/a>; <a href=\"https:\/\/link.springer.com\/article\/10.1007\/s00431-006-0153-9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Amaro et al., 2006)<\/a>. Toutefois, les effets sur la<strong> consommation de fruits restent \u00e0 d\u00e9montrer.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Combiner les strat\u00e9gies pour augmenter l&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 des interventions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>En conclusion de cette revue les auteurs soulignent ainsi que <strong>l&rsquo;augmentation <\/strong>de la <strong>disponibilit\u00e9 des fruits et l\u00e9gumes \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9cole, <\/strong>ainsi que la <strong>cr\u00e9ation de jeux<\/strong> et d<strong>&lsquo;activit\u00e9s en ligne<\/strong> constituent des <strong>strat\u00e9gies efficaces <\/strong>pour <strong>augmenter la consommation de fruits et l\u00e9gumes chez les enfants.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ils soulignent \u00e9galement l\u2019<strong>int\u00e9r\u00eat d\u2019approches multi-composantes.<\/strong> En effet plusieurs \u00e9tudes sugg\u00e8rent que la <strong>combinaison des strat\u00e9gies<\/strong> pourrait s\u2019av\u00e9rer plus <strong>efficace <\/strong>pour <strong>augmenter la consommation de fruits et l\u00e9gumes chez les enfants <\/strong>(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cambridge.org\/core\/services\/aop-cambridge-core\/content\/view\/395946DD3390CC8E036DBBCEEA492A9B\/S0007114509993370a.pdf\/effectiveness_of_schoolbased_interventions_in_europe_to_promote_healthy_nutrition_in_children_and_adolescents_systematic_review_of_published_and_grey_literature.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Van Cauwenberghe et al, 2010<\/a> ; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.researchgate.net\/publication\/233813966_Evans_et_al_2012_Micromechanical_model_of_bone_and_new_3D_approach_to_validation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Evans et al, 2012<\/a> ; <a href=\"https:\/\/academic.oup.com\/nutritionreviews\/article\/76\/8\/553\/5003346\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Murimi et al, 2018<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La combinaison des <strong>3 composantes <\/strong>suivantes seraient notamment la plus efficace :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Actions <strong>\u00e9ducatives<\/strong>, ciblant directement les enfants ;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Actions <strong>environnementales<\/strong>, ciblant l\u2019environnement scolaire (incluant la cantine scolaire et le personnel de l&rsquo;\u00e9cole) ;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Actions <strong>familiales<\/strong>, impliquant les parents pour renforcer les effets des interventions \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9cole.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019analyse de ces interventions pointe des <strong>leviers d&rsquo;actions<\/strong> pour l&rsquo;\u00e9laboration de politiques publiques visant \u00e0 <strong>promouvoir la consommation de fruits et l\u00e9gumes \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9cole.<\/strong> Une <strong>bo\u00eete \u00e0 outils <\/strong>a notamment \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9labor\u00e9e en 2016 par le<a href=\"https:\/\/commission.europa.eu\/about-european-commission\/departments-and-executive-agencies\/joint-research-centre_fr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Centre commun de recherche <\/a>de la Commission europ\u00e9enne afin de fournir aux \u00e9coles des recommandations en la mati\u00e8re (<a href=\"https:\/\/publications.jrc.ec.europa.eu\/repository\/handle\/JRC100990\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mak et al., 2016)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>Bas\u00e9 sur <\/strong>: Verdonschot, Angeliek, et al. \u00ab\u00a0Effectiveness of school-based nutrition intervention components on fruit and vegetable intake and nutrition knowledge in children aged 4\u201312 \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9valu\u00e9s : Mise \u00e0 disposition de fruits et l\u00e9gumes, jeu, enseignements, apprentissage bas\u00e9 sur l\u2019exp\u00e9rience, r\u00e9compenses\/incitations, encouragements et implication des encadrants.<\/li>\n<li>Limites :<\/li>\n<li>Peu d&rsquo;\u00e9tudes ont pu \u00eatre incluses, car beaucoup d&rsquo;entre elles utilisaient des programmes \u00e0 composantes multiples.<\/li>\n<li>Les \u00e9tudes primaires utilis\u00e9es ont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement \u00e9t\u00e9 class\u00e9es comme \u00e9tant de \u00ab\u00a0faible qualit\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb en termes de m\u00e9thodologie, ce qui signifie que leur fiabilit\u00e9 est limit\u00e9e.<\/li>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"block__solid-colored\">\n    <div Son analyse permet d\u2019identifier des pistes d\u2019action. Ce num\u00e9ro d\u2019\u00c9quation Nutrition pr\u00e9sente trois articles examinant les <strong>interventions susceptibles d'augmenter efficacement la consommation de fruits et l\u00e9gumes chez les enfants<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Le premier article est une revue rassemblant les <strong>strat\u00e9gies les plus efficaces pour am\u00e9liorer la consommation de fruits et l\u00e9gumes et les connaissances nutritionnelles d\u2019enfants \u00e2g\u00e9s de 4 \u00e0 12 ans<\/strong>. D'apr\u00e8s ce travail, la <strong>distribution de fruits et l\u00e9gumes \u00e0 l'\u00e9cole<\/strong> est la <strong>strat\u00e9gie la plus efficace<\/strong> pour <strong>augmenter la consommation de fruits<\/strong> <strong>chez les enfants<\/strong>, tandis que les <strong>jeux et activit\u00e9s en ligne <\/strong>(challenges pour consommer plus de fruits et l\u00e9gumes, s\u00e9ances de cuisine virtuelle...) permettraient d\u2019<strong>augmenter la consommation de l\u00e9gumes<\/strong>. Ce travail confirme un r\u00e9sultat g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement observ\u00e9 : la <strong>mise en \u0153uvre simultan\u00e9e <\/strong>de <strong>plusieurs interventions<\/strong> permet d\u2019obtenir de <strong>meilleurs r\u00e9sultats <\/strong>que les strat\u00e9gies isol\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>La deuxi\u00e8me revue a recens\u00e9 les essais contr\u00f4l\u00e9s randomis\u00e9s \u00e9valuant les <strong>interventions <\/strong>en <strong>milieu familial<\/strong> ou <strong>scolaire <\/strong>pour <strong>augmenter la consommation de fruits et\/ou de l\u00e9gumes <\/strong>chez des <strong>enfants am\u00e9ricains \u00e2g\u00e9s de 2 \u00e0 5 ans<\/strong>. D\u2019apr\u00e8s cette revue, <strong>inclure des modules d'\u00e9ducation nutritionnelle<\/strong>, s'ils sont interactifs, <strong>aux programmes scolaires<\/strong> est <strong>syst\u00e9matiquement efficace<\/strong> pour <strong>am\u00e9liorer la consommation de fruits et l\u00e9gumes<\/strong>. A l\u2019inverse, <strong>agir uniquement sur l'environnement alimentaire <\/strong>- <strong>sans \u00e9ducation nutritionnelle pr\u00e9alable<\/strong> - conduit \u00e0 des <strong>r\u00e9sultats contradictoires<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Enfin, le troisi\u00e8me article a examin\u00e9 les <strong>associations <\/strong>entre le <strong>statut socio\u00e9conomique de la famille<\/strong> et la <strong>consommation <\/strong>de <strong>fruits et l\u00e9gumes chez des enfants finlandais \u00e2g\u00e9s de 3 \u00e0 6 ans<\/strong>. Cette \u00e9tude a \u00e9valu\u00e9 le <strong>r\u00f4le m\u00e9diateur du mod\u00e8le parental <\/strong>et de la <strong>disponibilit\u00e9 des aliments<\/strong> dans les associations \u00e9tudi\u00e9es. Les r\u00e9sultats montrent que le <strong>niveau d'\u00e9ducation des parents est un meilleur pr\u00e9dicteur de la consommation de fruits et l\u00e9gumes des enfants que le revenu familial.<\/strong> Cette <strong>association <\/strong>est notamment <strong>influenc\u00e9e <\/strong>par le <strong>mod\u00e8le parental<\/strong>, une <strong>plus grande disponibilit\u00e9 de fruits et l\u00e9gumes <\/strong>et \u00e0 une <strong>moindre disponibilit\u00e9 d'aliments et de boissons sucr\u00e9s \u00e0 la maison<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Ces trois articles montrent ainsi qu'<strong>il existe un<\/strong> <strong>large \u00e9ventail d'interventions pour promouvoir la consommation de fruits et l\u00e9gumes chez les enfants<\/strong> et que <strong>leur efficacit\u00e9 varie <\/strong>en fonction de <strong>plusieurs param\u00e8tres comme l\u2019\u00e2ge<\/strong>, <strong>l'environnement alimentaire et les pratiques parentales<\/strong>.
