Selon ce travail, des apports alimentaires \u00e9lev\u00e9s en fruits et l\u00e9gumes et, par voie de cons\u00e9quence, en vitamine C, en folates, en vitamine K et en fibres sont associ\u00e9s \u00e0 une diminution de la probabilit\u00e9 d'infection par le SRAS-CoV-2. Le risque de diab\u00e8te pourrait quant \u00e0 lui \u00eatre r\u00e9duit de 8 \u00e0 12% avec une consommation de fruits accrue de 100 \u00e0 500 g par jour. Des preuves \u00ab mod\u00e9r\u00e9es \u00bb sugg\u00e8rent \u00e9galement qu\u2019une portion suppl\u00e9mentaire de fruits par jour (80-100g) pourrait diminuer les risques de maladies coronariennes et de cancer de la bouche. Enfin, ce travail ne montre aucun effet n\u00e9faste associ\u00e9 \u00e0 la consommation de fruits. Les auteurs soulignent enfin le besoin d\u2019essais contr\u00f4l\u00e9s randomis\u00e9s ou d\u2019\u00e9tudes prospectives sur de grands \u00e9chantillons, multicentriques et multinationaux pour confirmer ces r\u00e9sultats.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/science\/article\/abs\/pii\/S0924224421005471\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Liuqiao Sun, et al. Dans 4 \u00e9tablissements pr\u00e9scolaires du Portugal (162 enfants inclus), des sessions \u00e9ducatives de 20 minutes ont eu lieu une fois par semaine, pendant 5 semaines. En parall\u00e8le, les enfants ont \u00e9t\u00e9 expos\u00e9s de mani\u00e8re r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9e aux l\u00e9gumes. Selon ce travail, la consommation quotidienne de fruits permet de diminuer le risque de mortalit\u00e9 par maladies cardiovasculaires et par accidents vasculaires c\u00e9r\u00e9braux, ainsi que pour la mortalit\u00e9 toutes causes confondues (r\u00e9duction de 24 % avec une consommation d\u2019une portion quotidienne, 80 g, de fruits). Ces b\u00e9n\u00e9fices sont observ\u00e9s d\u00e8s de faibles niveaux de consommation \u2013 \u00e0 partir d\u2019une demi-portion de fruits par jour (43 g ou plus). Au contraire, lorsque faible consommation de fruits et faible niveau d\u2019activit\u00e9 physique sont associ\u00e9s, un risque de mortalit\u00e9 plus important est observ\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/science\/article\/abs\/pii\/S0939475321005408\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Yijia Chen, et al. Afin de v\u00e9rifier cet effet, une \u00e9tude d\u2019intervention a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9e dans une cr\u00e8che au Royaume-Uni. 110 enfants \u00e2g\u00e9s de 3 \u00e0 4 ans ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9partis dans 4 groupes. Trois groupes d'intervention ont \u00e9t\u00e9 expos\u00e9s \u00e0 six l\u00e9gumes crus et cuits en mobilisant un ou plusieurs sens : (a) la vue, (b) l'odorat et la vue, ou (c) l'odorat, le toucher et la vue. Le groupe t\u00e9moin a, quant \u00e0 lui, pris part \u00e0 une activit\u00e9 impliquant une exposition visuelle \u00e0 des produits non alimentaires. La volont\u00e9 des enfants de go\u00fbter et de consommer des l\u00e9gumes a ensuite \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9valu\u00e9e.
