{"id":73915,"date":"2020-11-09T16:23:57","date_gmt":"2020-11-09T15:23:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aprifel-pp.mentalworks.biz\/?post_type=article_revue&#038;p=73915"},"modified":"2022-04-06T20:08:20","modified_gmt":"2022-04-06T18:08:20","slug":"evolution-des-apports-alimentaires-et-en-nutriments-des-participants-au-programme-wic","status":"publish","type":"article_revue","link":"https:\/\/aprifel-pp.mentalworks.biz\/fr\/article-revue-equation-nutrition\/evolution-des-apports-alimentaires-et-en-nutriments-des-participants-au-programme-wic\/","title":{"rendered":"\u00c9volution des apports alimentaires et en nutriments des participants au programme WIC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>En 2009, la composition et la quantit\u00e9 d\u2019aliments inclus dans le Programme sp\u00e9cial d\u2019aide alimentaire WIC, destin\u00e9 aux femmes, aux nouveau-n\u00e9s et aux enfants, ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9vis\u00e9es pour mieux s\u2019aligner sur les recommandations nationales : augmentation des bons d\u2019achat utilisables sur les produits \u00e0 base <\/em><em>de c\u00e9r\u00e9ales compl\u00e8tes et les F&amp;L, r\u00e9duction pour le lait, le fromage et les jus, et restrictions sur la teneur en mati\u00e8res grasses du lait<sup>1<\/sup>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Cette \u00e9tude transversale s&rsquo;appuie sur les donn\u00e9es de la <em>National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey<\/em> (NHANES) pour <strong>\u00e9valuer les changements des apports alimentaires et en nutriments chez les enfants<\/strong> (n=1078, 24-59 mois) <strong>et les femmes<\/strong> (n=1025, 19-50 ans) <strong>des foyers b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaires<\/strong> du programme WIC, avant (2005-2008) et apr\u00e8s (2011-2014) la mise en \u0153uvre des r\u00e9visions du panier alimentaire de 2009.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>\u00c9volution des groupes d&rsquo;aliments et de nutriments chez les enfants apr\u00e8s la r\u00e9vision<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Les modifications du panier alimentaire ont \u00e9t\u00e9 associ\u00e9es \u00e0 une <strong>augmentation des apports en fibres<\/strong> (de 10,6 g \u00e0 11,6 g), en vitamine E (de 4,3 mg \u00e0 5,3 mg) <strong>et en phosphore<\/strong> (de 1 040 mg \u00e0 1 100 mg) <strong>chez les enfants<\/strong> par rapport \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chantillon d\u2019avant la r\u00e9vision. L\u2019augmentation des apports en fibres peut s&rsquo;expliquer en partie par la consommation accrue de c\u00e9r\u00e9ales compl\u00e8tes (de 15 g \u00e0 23,2 g) et de l\u00e9gumineuses (de 0,05 \u00e0 0,08 \u00e9quiv. tasses) qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9galement observ\u00e9e puisque la r\u00e9vision des paniers en 2009 comprenait davantage de c\u00e9r\u00e9ales compl\u00e8tes et une plus grande vari\u00e9t\u00e9 d&rsquo;aliments riches en prot\u00e9ines, tels que les haricots et les l\u00e9gumineuses. De plus, une diminution de la consommation de l\u00e9gumes amylac\u00e9s (de 0,33 \u00e0 0,23 \u00e9quiv. tasses) a \u00e9t\u00e9 not\u00e9e chez les enfants.<br \/>\n<strong>Ces donn\u00e9es sugg\u00e8rent que l\u2019augmentation des vari\u00e9t\u00e9s de c\u00e9r\u00e9ales compl\u00e8tes et de l\u00e9gumineuses dans le panier alimentaire a permis d\u2019accro\u00eetre la consommation de ces produits et contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer les apports en fibres.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><strong>Tableau <\/strong><strong>1 <\/strong><strong>: Apports alimentaires des enfants participant au programme WIC avant et apr\u00e8s la r\u00e9vision du panier <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<table style=\"border-color: #000000; Chez les enfants, on constate une am\u00e9lioration des apports en vitamine E et en phosphore ainsi que la consommation de plus de l\u00e9gumineuses et de moins de f\u00e9culents. Aucun changement dans la consommation totale de fruits, de fruits entiers ou de jus de fruits n&rsquo;a \u00e9t\u00e9 observ\u00e9, alors que les r\u00e9visions du panier comprenaient une incitation \u00e0 acheter des fruits frais via des bons d&rsquo;achat.
