Ces objectifs incluent des recommandations concernant les F&amp;L s\u2019appuyant sur des preuves solides que consommer davantage de F&amp;L prot\u00e8ge contre les morts pr\u00e9matur\u00e9es et, plus sp\u00e9cifiquement, contre les d\u00e9c\u00e8s cardiovasculaires et le risque d\u2019accident vasculaire c\u00e9r\u00e9bral.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019EHN a propos\u00e9 des objectifs interm\u00e9diaires et \u00e0 long terme pour la population, relatifs \u00e0 la consommation de F&amp;L (tableau 1) :<\/p>\n[TABLEAU]\n<p>Une alimentation favorisant une meilleure sant\u00e9 cardiovasculaire suppose de passer d\u2019un r\u00e9gime \u00e0 base dominante d\u2019aliments d\u2019origine animale \u00e0 une alimentation reposant davantage sur des aliments d\u2019origine v\u00e9g\u00e9tale, incorporant des l\u00e9gumes, des fruits et des baies en grande quantit\u00e9. Les produits c\u00e9r\u00e9aliers complets, les fruits \u00e0 coque et les graines, le poisson, les l\u00e9gumineuses et les produits laitiers \u00e0 faible teneur en mati\u00e8re grasse sont \u00e9galement importants \u00e0 consommer, tout comme les huiles v\u00e9g\u00e9tales en petite quantit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Un tel mod\u00e8le, adopt\u00e9 quotidiennement, limite de facto la consommation de viande rouge, de produits transform\u00e9s \u00e0 base de viande et d\u2019aliments<br \/>\nou de boissons pauvres en vitamines, min\u00e9raux et fibres alimentaires et\/ou riches en sucres simples, acides gras satur\u00e9s\/trans ou sel.<br \/>\nTrois grands mod\u00e8les alimentaires favorables \u00e0 la sant\u00e9 cardiovasculaire ont fait l\u2019objet de nombreuses recherches scientifiques :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>R\u00e9gime m\u00e9diterran\u00e9en : caract\u00e9ris\u00e9 par un apport important de F&amp;L, l\u00e9gumineuses, produits c\u00e9r\u00e9aliers complets, acides gras mono insatur\u00e9s<br \/>\n(huile d\u2019olive) et poisson. Les \u00e9tudes ont montr\u00e9 que ce r\u00e9gime peut diminuer la mortalit\u00e9 globale et cardiovasculaire ainsi que le risque<br \/>\ncardiovasculaire (1)<\/li>\n<li>DASH (Dietary Approach to Stop Hypertension): r\u00e9gime \u00e0 forte base d\u2019aliments d\u2019origine v\u00e9g\u00e9tale, riche en fruits, l\u00e9gumes, c\u00e9r\u00e9ales compl\u00e8tes et fruits \u00e0 coque, comprenant \u00e9galement des produits laitiers pauvres en mati\u00e8res grasses, des viandes maigres, du poisson et de la volaille. Ce mod\u00e8le alimentaire est associ\u00e9 \u00e0 une am\u00e9lioration de la tension art\u00e9rielle et du profil lipidique et, par cons\u00e9quent, \u00e0 une diminution du risque de MCV (2).<\/li>\n<li>R\u00e9gime alimentaire nordique sain : comprend des aliments naturellement riches en fibres, tels que les l\u00e9gumes, les l\u00e9gumineuses, les fruits (particuli\u00e8rement les fruits rouges), les fruits \u00e0 coque, les graines et les c\u00e9r\u00e9ales compl\u00e8tes, ainsi que l\u2019huile de colza et les produits laitiers sans ou all\u00e9g\u00e9s en mati\u00e8res grasses. Diverses \u00e9tudes ont montr\u00e9 que ce r\u00e9gime a des effets cardiovasculaires b\u00e9n\u00e9fiques (3)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Composants alimentaires augmentant le risque de MCV<\/h2>\n<p>Pour r\u00e9duire le risque de MCV, certaines recommandations de l\u2019EHN concernant le sucre, les mati\u00e8res grasses et le sel sont pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es Tableau 2.<\/p>\n[TABLEAU]\n<p>Dans leur ensemble, les objectifs propos\u00e9s ci-dessus pour la population devraient se traduire par un r\u00e9gime alimentaire favorisant une meilleure sant\u00e9 cardiovasculaire, et de faible densit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique, ce qui est important pour le maintien du poids et la pr\u00e9vention du surpoids et de l\u2019ob\u00e9sit\u00e9. Pour les adultes, l\u2019EHN propose de parvenir \u00e0 un indice de masse corporelle (IMC) moyen inf\u00e9rieur \u00e0 23 comme objectif interm\u00e9diaire et \u00e0 21 comme objectif \u00e0 long terme.
